How many years did you combine to make your "conclusions?" I pulled the 2019 data and for skeet shooting, there were 8 records, 4 white, 3 Asian/Pacific and 1 not specified. Also, how did you deal with "not specified?"
I went up to 2017. And not specified was thrown out because they couldn't reliably be pinned down as anything. Also the article is more of a spoof than a "rigorous data analysis" with firm "conclusions" as you call them. The point of the Substack is fun articles for people who don't usually deal much with data.
I'd be interested in seeing other ethnicities too. I thought maybe injuries relating to black hair treatments, but I know plenty of white girls who have burnt themselves with their straighteners...
I’d be interested to see how the indices look for other ethnicities. Would be cool to compare gender as well.
Now do one on the “Blackest” injuries. I dare you.
Checked why the Govt tracks race with injuries at hospitals. They can handicap likelihood to get paid...
